A Vietnamese coriander plant – Persicaria ordata a type of coriander that is slightly more peppery, spicy, and minty especially suitable for stir-fries and curries added near the end of cooking to retain flavour. It prefers a free draining soil in full sun or partial shade and can grow to a height of 2-3 feet. It needs warmth over the winter so can be grown in a greenhouse or in a pot that is moved indoors during colder months. Pinching out the tips will encourage fresh leaf growth.
